On the runway, timing is everything. The Kabuki Drop system creates dramatic reveals and seamless transitions, allowing curtains, backdrops, and visual elements to drop instantly at precisely the right moment.

For this production, 10 GLOBAL EFFECTS Kabuki Drop units were used together with a sniffer, allowing the curtain release to be triggered as part of the show’s lighting and control sequence.

As the moment approached, the curtain kept the next scene hidden from the audience. Then, on cue, all 10 units released simultaneously — transforming the runway in an instant.

The result was a reveal designed to make an impression: a perfectly timed visual moment that captured the attention of the audience, photographers, and cameras.
